Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what information mahjongsolitaire.games does and does not collect when you play. The short version: we do not require an account, we do not collect personal information, and we do not show ads. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which layouts are popular. Your game progress lives in your own browser.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not ask you to register, sign in, or provide a name, email address, phone number, or any other personal detail to play. Because there are no user accounts, we hold no personal profiles and no contact information about you on our servers.
Data Stored on Your Device
To make the game pleasant to return to, we save a small amount of information directly in your browser using local storage. This includes things like your current level progress, your win and game-played statistics, and preferences such as sound or display settings. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is not linked to your identity. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for mahjongsolitaire.games, which simply resets your local progress.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure visits in aggregate (see "Analytics" below). Apart from that, the local storage described above is a standard browser feature used purely to remember your own game on your own device — it is not a tracking cookie and is not shared with anyone.
Hosting and Server Logs
Our site is delivered through a reputable hosting and content-delivery provider. Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — for example, how many people visit, which layouts are popular, and which countries traffic comes from. Google Analytics collects standard technical data such as a truncated IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view, and sets cookies to do so. We use this only to improve the game and do not use it to identify you personally. We do not run advertising networks or social-media trackers on the site. If we ever introduce such services, we will update this policy first and clearly describe what changes.
Children's Privacy
Mahjong Solitaire is a general-audience game suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not knowingly collect it from children.
Your Choices
You are always in control. You can play with no account, clear your locally stored progress whenever you like through your browser settings, and use private/incognito mode if you prefer that the game keep no local history at all.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
